Fees

The fees associated with perpetual trading are detailed below:

Trading Fees

Opening/Closing Fees:

  • The trading fee to open a position is 0.05% or 0.07% of the position size, similarly there is a 0.05% or 0.07% fee when closing the position.

  • If the trade increases the balance of longs and shorts then the fee would be 0.05%, otherwise the fee would be 0.07%.

Funding Fees: Calculated hourly based on the difference between the perpetual contract price and the index price.

  • Helps bring a balance between long and short OI

  • There may be positive or negative funding fees while a position is open

  • If you receive positive funding fees for your position, these fees can be claimed by using the "Claim" button on the Trade Page

Borrow Fees: Charged hourly for positions that utilize borrowed funds, with rates depending on the asset's borrowing demand and supply.

  • Jump Interest Rate Model, depends on pool utilization (Pool Reserved/Pool Amount)

  • Charge hourly

Aptos Network Fees: Standard network fees apply for transactions on the Aptos blockchain.

Deposit/Withdrawal Fees

  • Deposit Fees: No fees for depositing collateral.

  • Withdrawal Fees: Network fees may apply based on the respective blockchain's transaction costs.

Other Fees

  • Liquidation Fees: $5,

    • Maintenance Margin Fraction (MMF): 1%

  • Dynamic Fees: Adjusted based on market conditions to ensure the stability and profitability of the liquidity pool.

Example Calculations

  1. Opening/Closing a Position:

    • Position Size: $10,000

    • Fee: $10,000 * 0.05% = $5

  2. Funding Fees: Calculated hourly, varies based on market conditions.

  3. Liquidation: Remaining collateral after liquidation is subject to a liquidation fee.
